Triple C School has been providing a quality Christian education in the Cayman Islands since 1941. It was the first private school to provide both elementary and secondary education. The school, which includes Pre-School through Grade 12, is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Approximately 50% of the graduates seek higher education in the United States and Canada. The other 50% opt to attend college or university locally or elsewhere or successfully enter the workforce having completed our Careers/Work Experience Program.

History
Triple C School was started in 1941. Sis Esme Jackson, Bro. Orrie Merren, and Sis Ena Merren would have regular morning prayer meetings asking the Lord to provide a school for the children of Cayman. When the Ratzlaffs took over
the fledgling work from Rev. Andrews, Mrs. Ratzlaff was requested by the Merren family to start a school. This she did on October 20, 1941 with seven students in a little room on the upper floor of the empty and hardly used jail. They were: Edlin Merren, Ermyn Merren, Daireen Merren, Burke Hunter, Mary Merren Thompson, Winsome Panton, and Mark Panton.
The school grew and soon outgrew its little room. From there it moved to the church with a class being held on “Aunt Marrie’s” porch. It immediately needed another teacher and in 1942 recruited a young and enthusiastic teacher/principal who was to make a mark on the school and the island. That teacher was Caroline Glassman (Merren). She led in the naming of the school in 1944. From many words the students wrote in the naming exercise, the first three that Caroline identified were Creative Christian Character and Triple C School finally had a name that reflected its distinct heritage and objective. A building and breezeway were added to the church a few years later and at last Triple C had a home. The first graduating class was:
Ermyn Merren, Daireen Merren, Virginia Bodden, Pansy Thompson, Georgette Hurlstone (Ebanks), Stacey Solomon and Mark Panton. Sis Caroline Merren married Orrie Merren, Jr., a stalwart man of God and became an important part of the Caymanian church family.
Coming to the island in 1944 was another dedicated woman of God. Sis Wilma Ryder (Watler) also travelled to Grand Cayman, an island she knew little about in response to a call of the Lord on her life. Sis Wilma Ryder married Desmond Watler and remained on the island until her death. We pay tribute to all of the teachers and principals for the investment they made in our children. In 1963 a new school building was completed off Hospital on a piece of property that had been purchased during the term of Bro. Arthur Kluge. This facility served the school well and the campus had to be extended five times to provide adequate facilities for the programs and the growing enrollment.
In 1976 the school board hired Sis. Marjorie Ebanks, a young Caymanian who had been on the mission field in South America and in 1978, she was appointed principal. She has remained at the school for 33 years as teacher, principal, director, or CAO and has led the school through countless improvements, including the new campus and the restoration of that campus after the devastation caused by Hurricane Ivan in 2004. Sis. Marjorie has served as the Executive Secretary of the General Assembly for the last ten years.
Early in 1997 the school moved to a new first class facility on Bobby Thompson Way. The building was devastated by Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and for one full year classes were held at the Family Life Center and the Church of God Chapel, George Town. The school now has an enrollment of 340 students and 30 teachers.
